If have 6 points or more on my provisional licence, can I take my test, and would I be able to drive after passing my test.

Yes, but if you get 1 point on your licence within the first 2 years, you will have to retake the theory and practical test.

Comment of Nick Turner:
6 points on your provisional license! You are obviously a clear danger to other road users already and don't deserve a full license!
