The Driving Schools Directory offers a free internet directory listing for driving schools, and driving instructors. You will be able to add your URL or link to your web site. We are unique in that we do not limit the coverage you can have. If you cover a 1000 towns, you can list them all. In fact, we really do encourage you to list all the towns and villages you cover no matter how insignificant you feel they may be. It is amazing what some people will search for.

Featured Listings are highlighted and stand out from non-paid listings. They are also placed above normal listings whenever they are displayed. QR Call and Text Call Back facilities on your listing. Stage Three

To ensure your driving school gets the maximum exposure to every visitor for the towns you cover, this is the way to go.

There will only be one of these 'Top Spot Featured Listings' for any given 'towns' page so, first come first served unfortunately. If you cover say, Croydon and the 'Top Featured Listing' already contains details of a driving school, then the position will already have been taken.

ADI Hot Spot Ads. With these you can display a banner for your driving school on the top left of each of the local towns pages. It doesn't matter if you cover one or a thousand towns. If more than one driving school wishes to be displayed on the same towns page, then their banners/ads will be rotated.

Maximising Your Website

If you do have your own website, you will want to make sure it is seen by visitors surfing or searching for driving schools and instructors in your area. There is little point in having a website if it cannot be found in the search engines.

It should be relatively easy to gain high rankings in the search engine results pages (SERPS) for search terms like 'driving instructor anytown' as there is relatively low competition compared to a phrase like 'credit cards'.

At the time of writing, the Driving Schools Directory ranks number 1 in Google for the search term 'Driving Instructors' with 52,700,000 competing websites - see here. Now you can try optimise for that search term but it would be difficult given the competition and if you only operate in say, Ashford, why bother going to all that effort? Most of your visitors will not be interested in your services - they will be from all over the country.

I have done a series of videos that show you how to get your website ranked highly for a search term that will drive targetted traffic to your website. In the videos I target the search term 'driving schools ashford. Currently that is ranked Number 1 - see here.

That term is likely to be harder to rank for than many towns because there are two ashford towns in the UK so there is double the competing websites - about 109,000. For many, many towns, the competition is way lower than this so getting a top ranking keyword for your website should be very easy.

One of the services we offer to visiting pupils is the Enquiry Service. There is the Crash Courses Enquiry Service and the Normal Driving Lessons Enquiry Service. The idea of this is to save them time contacting numerous driving schools from any specific town.

After they complete their contact and probable lesson requirement details, an email is automatically sent out straight away to those driving schools that have a Featured Listing. These leads are therefore red hot!

Featured Listing holders can login to the members area and pick up the details of the pupil. The Toolbar was designed so that these driving schools do not have to login daily and they can see in real time whether or not there is a prospect in their area and they then can login to retrieve the details.

Even if you do not have a featured Listing, the Toolbar is still very worth having, not only to see all the new pupils you are missing (!) but there is loads of functionality on the toolbar that will be useful and interesting for you.
