When are we instructors going to stop putting down lesson prices, or will we carry on until we pay the pupils? Been instructing for the last 13 years. Yesterday at the test centre an instructor with 25 years experience said he’d never know it so bad as in the last 3 years, and is taking early retirement because he can’t afford to drop his prices any more. In our area lessons are costing £9 per hour in some cases while one school is offering first 5 hours £19, no doubt to undercut the one charging £20 for 5 hrs.
