Driving » DSA Theory Tests

Are the Theory test questions updated every 2 years? After how many years? Can a 2004 and theory book still be used for the test questions? Thanks.

Yes, the theory test is altered slightly every two years to reflect changes to traffic legislation.
If you use a 2004 book, that will do. However, theory test books on their own are not enough if you want to understand road safety instead of just memorising the answers just to pass the test.
Don't forget, the practical test involves being able to apply what you've learnt in the theory test in a real setting.

Comment of Trevor Moore:
Recently the theory test has also been changed slightly to include questions around a case study. The questions are from the existing question bank but include a scenario where understanding the answers in context with a live situation is displayed.
