Spectacular methods for new drivers. Really appreciated the advice from the instructor. Practical and useful tips were provided which are still quite useful in my day to day driving. Highly recommend any new and nervous driver to use proactive driver, it's good value for money!

After learning to drive with Pro Active Driver Training for roughly a year, I managed to pass my driving test second time.
Even after my failure first time round, my instructor, Dave Beresford, was willing to help and always tried to improve my confidence in my driving.
I was never messed around, and I always knew in advance if my instructor needed to change my lesson day and/or time.
He always arrived early to ensure that I received the driving time I had paid for and I feel that the level of instructing I was given was of a very high standard.
If I felt there was ever anything I was uncomfortable with or wasn’t confident doing, Dave would allow time in a lesson to go over specific areas of driving
to help boost my confidence.
The lessons were planned well and structured in a way that best suited my own personal learning style.
I was taken on a variety of routes, to ensure I was capable and confident driving on many road types.
My lessons also helped me prepare for a lot of situations that could happen at any moment whilst driving solo after passing my test.
At £22 per hour, I was pleased with the standard of instructing I received. Dave often had lesson deals advertised on his website which were advantageous.
I personally took advantage of two of the offers available to me; 15 hours and my theory test for £250 and block booking 10 hours for £200.
The car I learned to drive in was kept clean both inside and outside and was changed every 6-7 months for a brand new model.
Overall, excellent standard of instructing and superb provision of services – very pleased and could not have asked for better.

I recommend Dave to anyone, he not only prepared me for my test, which was yet another first time pass for him, but he also instilled in me lifelong good driving habits. Thanks to Dave not only did I pass but I also feel confident that I’m a safe driver for life who will always be alert to learning and improving over the long haul. The lessons were intense as Dave always pushes for perfection, and thank goodness as there really is no room for error in driving; but they were also great fun!

I would recommend any one to pro active driver training.
From when i first started with Dave i wasn't the best of drivers at that time.
But after all the good and hard work Dave did for me it paid of.
Dave took me though every detail.
A lot of hard work yes. But that hard work got me a pass with no errors and a very good instructor.

Work carried out: Driving lessions.
I found this instructor to be very helpful and accomodating. Attendance to agreed meetings has been punctual, and there is an openness to trying differring approaches to picking up the required skills. Lessions span a 2 hour period, and can be quite intense, as the instructor believes in training to a high standard. Progress, for me, has been good, and I find it hard to fault the service provided.

David Beresford was my one and only driving instructor. His pro-active approach to driving was well ingrained into my own driving style. Nearly three years later the benefits are clear; no accidents and a restrained certainty in my driving abilities. I would also like to point out that David really took the time to teach me how to drive as opposed to teaching me how to pass the driving exam (I passed the test with my first try). If all the driving instructors had the same approach I am sure the streets would be a much safer, calmer place. David is also a great guy, which made my experience even that much better.

At 35, I learned to drive later in life than a lot of people, and I was therefore nervous and lacking in confidence.
Dave took all of this into consideration and was excellent at involving me in the planning of my lessons,
enabling me to feel in control of how I was learning; he would always ask how I was feeling on the day of a
lesson and plan the lesson accordingly.

I thoroughly enjoyed learning with Dave, and honestly feel that he helped to instill in me good driving skills,
perception and awareness for life. He made sure that by the time I took my test I was absolutely ready,
and as a result I passed first time!

I would definitely recommend Dave Beresford, and Pro Active Driver Training.
