Steve is an incredible driving instructor and I would recommend him to anyone, whether they are complete beginners or have had previous experience elsewhere. He is extremely patient, motivating and teaches you with a calm attitude that allows you to follow the instructions clearly and correctly. A welcome feeling is that his attitude rubs off on you and your driving making you a safer driver. I am another of his first time passers and I would swear by him to get you through learning to drive :)

With Steve as an instructor it gave me more confidence as a driver as he made me feel confident with what I was doing and didn't rush me into anything I felt uncomfortable with. My brother started learning with him and recommended him and as my brother also passed first time with Steve it made me feel that it could be done for me.I passed my test first time with no minors,thanks to Steve.
Trust what Steve tells you,if he thinks you are doing well and are ready for your test he is probably right!

On my first lesson I was so nervous I wasn't sure I could do it, but I carried on and quickly discovered that his relaxed and patient teaching style made learning easy and allowed me to progress at my own pace, something I have heard a lot of instructors don't do. After passing first time, I felt the major difference between Steve and other instructors is that he doesn't just teach you to pass your test, he teaches you to drive properly. Can't recommend him enough.

Steve is an excellent Instructor, his calm approach, support and encouragement was invaluable for someone who did not find it easy to learn to drive.
After I passed my test with Steve, he took me through the Pass Plus Course, which I would highly recommend to any learner.

I decided to use Steve as a driving instructor in 2008. Before that I had failed my driving test 5 times but I was going abroad so I was desperate to pass. With Steve's patient tuition and easy examples I passed first time, I've never been so happy in my life....
I then went on to get my past plus and since then I have never had an accident (touch wood). I highly recommend him.
