Thanks to Rich I passed my test first time with only one minor. I was a very nervous driver and Rich was the 3rd driving instructor I have had lessons with and by far the best. He taught in a very different way from the other instructors which made is so much easier for me to learn. I would highly reccomend him as an instructor, one minor on my first test says it all! I was very nervous about starting driving lessons but I could not have wished for a better instructor than Richard. He was always so calm, patient and encouraging that he really built my confidence up quickly. When I couldn't understand something he'd find different ways to explain it to me until I got it. As an American with many years of driving experience, I needed someone to help me adapt my prior knowledge to the demands of driving "on the other side of the road" and to conquer roundabouts with confidence. Whether you are totally new to driving or you are a "foreigner" wishing to drive in the UK, you will be successful with Richard as your instructor. He is patient and thorough. richard is a great driving instructor he makes you feel comefertable from your first lesson. he makes the lessons enjoyable. he is very calm and never shouts even if you make stupid mistakes this helps alot because he never makes you feel nervous. i passed first time with richard and i know others that did aswell. i will miss the driving lessons. and i would reccommend richard to anyone who asked. I was very nervous about learning to drive, but Rich is such a supportive and encouraging instructor that he soon built my confidence. He has a very calm approach, that puts you at ease. Also Rich explains things in a very clear manner, and if you don't understand it immediaitely, he'll find a different way to explain it. His patience and sense of humour made learning to drive a positive experience. Rich is a fantastic teacher/instructor and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone! DARYL PEARSON
I have passed my driving test through learner success. I only got 2 minors an was over the moon once presented with a certificate, My tutor was Richard. Richard is a very good person who tells you all you need to know when it come too driving, he answers question straight away when asked. very polite and cheer full no matter when you have a lesson with him. his car is very clean and tidy too. thank you for all you have done Daryl KATHERINE

I passed my test Monday 17 January 2011...what a relief... and on my first attempt! All I have to say is that Richard is a brilliant instructor and became a great friend in the months he taught me how to drive. I was very nervous for my first few lessons but Richard made me feel confident within a couple of months and teaches in a way that does not overwhelm you. Richard is a great driving instructor, he never gets angry when you make a mistake and is always in a good mood. He makes learning easy especially if you are nervous. I passed first time with only one minor! I could not have done it without him. I would definitely recommend Learner Success to anyone wanting to learn to drive! LAURA
I passed my driving test last week (on the 1st try!), thanks to Richard! He is very friendly and immediately puts you at ease. Richard is extremely knowledgeable about the test and plans your lessons around what exactly YOU need to work on. He is patient, calm, and truly wants you to become a confident driver. Richard is also flexible when it comes to scheduling lessons and may even help you clean your car before your test... :) I highly recommend him! EMILY

I couldn't of asked for a better driving instructor than Richard, he is patient, friendly, committed and encouraging. Richard is a very patient, friendly and approachable instructor but also pays great attention to detail. His thorough and structured lesson plans ensured I worked though bad habits I had developed and I could not have been better prepared for the test. I passed my test on the first attempt a few days ago, and couldn't have done it without Richard. He's the most patient person in the world, he never gets annoyed and explains things really clearly so that it's never overwhelming. Richard is a great tutor, before I went with him I was with someone who taught me really bad habbits. But Richard has a great method and works well towards driving safely and enjoying it at the same time. So I soon snapped out of those bad habbits. He is easy going and you learn quickly!! I've passed my test first time on 03.July with only 3faults, and i am very happy, because i had a great instructor,very patient,friendly,funny,flexible...i enjoyed all of my lessons!!the price is very cheap.. Just passed my driving test on the 23rd of june 2009 1st attempt as well lol enough boasting. Just want to say a big thank you to richard who got me through it all who's a great instructor and gave me alot of confidence which improved my driving. He's a great guy as well someone that you can have laugh with, which helps to relax you while your doing your lessons. I took my lessons with Richard at Learner Success, he was great as i was worried about learning and not picking up the skills required. However after only a few lessons i could see myself impoving and by the end of my course i felt prepared and past my test first time after only 3 months of learning! The lessons weren't expensive and were great value as i learnt so much every lesson. I would recommend this school to anyone. CARLY
If your looking for a patient, friendly, easy going, supportive, funny instructor then Richard is your man! I have just passed my test (first time) with Richard and without his determination and support i dont think it would have been possible. I started driving lessons with Learner Success (Richard) in Dec'08 and within few weeks, I took my theory test. On passing my theory test, my practical test was booked for Mar'09 as I needed to be driving because of my new baby. I am very much impressed with Richard's professionalism and his determination and support for me to pass my test first time.
