Steve is a brilliant instructor and most importantly he is very patient. He uses good methods which do not only aid you in the test, but also help you be a more compotent driver when you pass. After a few hurdles, Steve's perseverance enabled me to pass with just 3 minors. I would highly recommend Steve Gardner as an instructor!

Steve is a very good instructor who makes you feel very comfortable from the outset. He taught the manoeuvers very well and gave plenty of time to practice on possible test routes which helped me to pass quickly and first time. I thoroughly recomend Steve to anyone.

steve is an amazing instructor , he really put all of his effort in to help me pass A.S.A.P , within the reason that i was ready to do so. Steve helped me pass first time round as he did with my other friends who was learning to drive around the same time as me from college , i would recommend him for an instructor as his teaching methods are really good , and his attitude to the learners is great , i would recommend steve to anyone and everyone.

Steve is thorough, reliable and flexible too - I had an extremely short notice test to which he was able to fit around, and I passed first time with 2 minors. I had my first driving lesson with Steve Garnder a week before my test. My previous driving school were extremely unreliable and had let me down a month before my driving test.He was extremely friendly and really made me feel confident about my test,showing me routes I had never been on before for example. Another bonus was the price of his lessons, which compared to others were far better.
I would recommend this driving school highly, and am very greatful of the help and support it gave me.

Steve is an excellent instructor, and tailors his teaching to exactly what the individual student needs in a way which will work for them. I started as a very anxious driver, letting my nerves get the better of me, but with Steve's patience and excellent teaching methods, I passed today with 4 minors (something I never thought I would be able to do in a million years!) I took my driving class with steve for one month as passed my test with just 6 minors. I should say steve is a very good instructor and i am very happy to be thought by him. My major problem was my driving style as i have been driving for 10 years in india. Steve as very helpful in removing all my bad habits and teaching me new techniques which are acceptable in UK. I suffer from anxiety which affected my learning process, but Steve was fantastic - really understanding and supportive throughout. With his guidance and encouragement I was able to combat my fears and build my driving skills to a confident level. I didn't think I'd pass first time but with Steve rooting for me and his driving methods and advice firmly planted in my mind I went for it and succeeded! I highly recommend Steve!

I would recommend Icknield driving school to anyone. My instructor was superb, he was extremely patient, friendly and was great at controlling my nerves! The school is flexible and great value for money. I passed first time with just 3 minors. I am now thinking of doing my pass plus and this would definitely be my chosen school.

I had Steve as my driving instructor and he was always calm and patient with me in my lessons. I passed first time and felt well prepared for my test thanks to my instructor. I also took up the opportunity to do my pass plus with the school which really helped me to boost my confidence in driving on motorways and how to be calm when you get lost (and try not to in the first place)! I would definately recommend this driving school to anyone within the Barton/Luton area.
