Drive to Arrive is a driver training business based in the South Lakes established in October 2004 by Peter Stas. Drive to Arrive teaches people to drive safely, not just pass a test. Tuition is tailored to the individual, which can include theory test and hazard perception preparation and the provision of books and software. Besides learner driving lessons, training is also available in driver improvement, confidence building, advanced driving, defensive driving and driving in the workplace. Based in Grange-over-Sands learner lessons are provided throughout the Cartmel peninsula and around the Kent estuary. Other levels are available throughout a wider area by negotiation.
Peter Stas is a retired police officer with a wide range of experience in road safety and driver training. His daughter Donna Watson is also an instructor in the business and has benefited from his experience.
